Abstract

A new vic-dioxime, 12,13-bis(hydroxyimino)-11,14-diaza-tetracosane (H2L), has been prepared from decylamine and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime. Monomeric Ni(II) [(E,E) and (E,Z)], Co(II) and Pd(II) complexes are obtained with a metal-ligand ratio of 1:2. A dimetric complex with UO2 and polymeric Cu(II), Co(II), Pd(II), and (E,Z)-Ni(II) complexes were prepared. All monomeric complexes are very soluble in common organic solvents, but the dimeric uranyl complex and polymeric complexes are not soluble. 1H and 13C NMR, IR, MS, and UV-vis data are presented.
