Abstract

ABSTRACTThe metalloporphyrin Zn (II) tetraphenylporphyrin was incorporated into mesoporous molecular sieves SBA-15 by the interaction of the π electrons of the metalloporphyrin with the superficial hydroxyl groups of the SBA-15. The resultant material confirmed that the channels of SBA-15 have been filled with the metalloporphyrins by means of XRD, TEM, solid UV/Vis, FT-IR, nitrogen adsorption, and TGA. Luminescent properties were studied by solid fluorescence emission and excitation spectra. Results indicate that luminescent property of SBA-15/metalloporphyrin is better than that of the pure metalloporphyrin.
