Abstract
The reactions of (C 5H 5)Fe(CO) 2SCO(C 6H 4)COCl with thiols (RSH), carboxylic acids (RCOOH), secondary amines (R 2NH) and phenols in the presence of pyridine afforded the bifunctional complexes (C 5H 4)Fe(CO) 2SCO(C 6H 4)COX (XRS, RCOO, R 2N, ArO) in fairly good yields. The synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectra.
