Abstract
Synthesis and characterization of mixed ligand Cu(II) complexes of salicylic acid derivatives with 2-aminobenzotiyazol derivatives
Highlights
In this study, mixed ligand transition metal complexes of Cu(II) have been prepared between salicylic acid derivatives [salicylic acid (H2sal) or acetylsalicylic acid (Hasal)] and 2-aminobenzothiazole derivatives [2-aminobenzothiazole or 2-amino-6chlorobenzothiazole (Clabt) or 2-amino-6-methylbenzothiazole (Meabt)]
The structures of amorphous metal complexes have been proposed by evaluating the data obtained from elemental analysis, ICP-OES, FT-IR, UV-Vis, thermal analysis, magnetic susceptibility and molar conductivity studies
