Abstract
The alpha-Fe2O3/C composite was prepared by high-temperature solid-state reaction, its structure and electrochemical performance were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron miscroscopy (SEM), charge/discharge test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrochemical test results indicated that the alpha-Fe2O3/C composite showed an reversible charge capacity of 935.3 mAh.g(-1) after 50 cycles, and had better cycle performance compared with commercial alpha-Fe2O3. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy test indicated that there appeared three semicircles respectively representing the Li-ion migration in solid electrolyte interface film (SEI film), electrical conductivity and charge transfer in the first lithiation, and their evolutive principles were also investigated.
