Abstract
CuInSe2 semiconductor nanoparticles were synthesized by the hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM ), transmission electron microscopy (TEM ), FT-Raman , UV-spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) spectrum analyses had been done to study of the synthesized samples crystallinity, morphological and optical properties. The chalcopyrite (tetragonal) structure was confirmed by XRD pattern of CuInSe2. The Raman spectrum of the CuInSe2 showed the dominant A1 modes at 176 cm−1. The synthesized samples were composed of cubes which is shown by SEM and TEM analyses with the size of nanometers. The optical property of the synthesized nanoparticles was studied from the photoluminescence spectrum. At different frequencies for different temperatures the dielectric properties of CuInSe2 nanoparticles were studied. CuInSe2 nanoparticles dielectric constant and the dielectric loss decreased with increase in frequency.
