Abstract

A new series of copper complexes formed through the reaction of diphenylpyraline hydrochloride (DP.HCl) with copper(II) salts were synthesized. The solid complexes isolated were characterized by conductivity measurements, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility studies. The molecular structure of the Cu(C19H23ON)2Cl2 complex was investigated by X-ray diffraction.
