Abstract
Polyaniline (PANI) doped with HCl was blended with different poly(azomethine ester)s (10% by weight of PANI) and compressed into pellets. The blends were studied by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FT-IR) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). Electrical conductivities of the blends determined by four-point probe method, in the temperature range 32°C to 80°C, vary from 24.4 × 10−3 to 3.15 × 10−3 Scm−1. The TGA measurements show that weight loss occurred below 80°C is only about 2%.
