Abstract

1-Chloro-3-methylenecyclopropene was prepared by vacuum gas-solid elimination of 2,2-dichloro-1-methylene-3-(trimethylsilyl)cyclopropane over solid cesium fluoride and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy at −103 °C.
