Abstract

Solid acid composite CsH2PO4(CDP)/NaH2PO4(SDP)/ZrO2 were synthesized and characterised with different weight ratio of CDP, SDP and ZrO2. The characterisations of the Solid acid composite were observed the structural, thermal stability and conductivity in terms of X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and conductivity measurements. The amount of CDP, SDP and ZrO2 pressure used for pallet production and operating temperature. The composites powders were to form of pellets of 1 mm thickness for conductivity measurement. SDP in the composites has a large effect of the conductivity measurement. The supertonic transition was identified at temperature 2350c to 2700c of CDP/SDP/ZrO2 composites under atmospheric pressure. Thermal stability of the solid acid composites such as temperature of dehydration, melting and decomposition were investigated in the temperature range 2300c to 2800c under environments atmospheric humidification.
