Abstract

In this presentation, we have discussed the synthesis and characterization of a new nano photocatalyst system (Cu-Trp-Ilu/MWCNTs) utilizing the potent carbon nanotubes, Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes. The MWCNTs were synthesised by our new simple chemical approach under less harsh conditions, compared to very harsher physical approaches. Doping of the interesting Copper bioinorganic complex, Copper-Tryptophan-Isoleucine with MWCNTs was achieved via a facile synthetic approach would be presented. The SEM image of the Nano photo catalyst shows the immersion of bioinorganic complex (Cu-Trp-Ilu) within a pool of MWCNTs and forming the Nanocatalyst system, (Cu-Trp-Ilu/MWCNTs).The obtained (Cu-Trp-Ilu/MWCNTs) was employed in numerable applications such as sensors, measuring the pesticide concentration in food products, adsorption of heavy metals from drinking water and bioanalysis of blood and urine samples.
