Abstract

A simple and convenient method for the synthesis of biologically active 3-(2-oxoalkylidene)-3,4-dihydro2H-1,4-benzoxazin-2-ones was proposed. The structures of the synthesized compounds were established using NMR and IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. It was established that the synthesized compounds possessed antioxidant, antiradical, and strong antihypoxant activity and exhibited low acute toxicity, which allowed the search for new antioxidants and antihypoxants among benzoxazines to continue.
