Abstract
Abstract‘3 + 1’ mixed ligand oxorhenium(V) complexes of the type ReO(SSS)S(CH2) nHetN have been synthesized by the reaction of the preliminary prepared tetrahydro(iso)quinolyl containing monodentate ligands with chloro(3‐thiapentane‐1,5‐dithiolato)oxorhenium(V). The newly synthesized ligands and complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Metal complexes were screened for psychotropic and antitumour activities and receptor‐binding properties and were found to be active in this respect. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
