Abstract

AbstractThe preparation and properties of trimethylsilyl dinitramide Me3SiN(NO2)2 are reported. Its application as dinitramide transfer reagent furnished the first covalent organotellurium(IV) bis(dinitramides) R2Te[N(NO2)2]2, which were characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. Alternatively, R2Te[N(NO2)2]2 were synthesized from the corresponding organotellurium(IV) halides R2TeX2 with silver dinitramide.
