Abstract

Abstract—Silica–resorcinol–formaldehyde aerogels were synthesized using a sol–gel method, followed by drying in supercritical CO2. The correlations between the conditions of synthesis and the structural and physical characteristics of the synthesized samples were analyzed. The obtained aerogels can be used as sorbents of CO2 and thermal insulation materials.
