Abstract

The syntheses and X-ray structures of the di- and trinuclear pivalates [C9H7NH][CoTb(Piv)3(C9H7N)(NO3)3]·0.5H2O, [CoLn(Piv)5(C9H7N)(H2O)]·0.5C9H7N (Ln = Gd, Dy), and [Co2Gd(Piv)6(C9H7N)2(NO3)] (Piv = O2CCMe3) are reported. The four complexes all exhibit weak ferromagnetic interactions between their corresponding heterometallic ions.
