Abstract
The first syntheses of (α,α′-diperfluoroalkylated)diamines are reported together with a range of substituted α-perfluoroalkylated amines all prepared in good yields from benzotriazole derivatives and perfluoroalkyl Grignard reagents in the presence of BF 3·Et 2O. Primary amines are conveniently obtained from Pd-catalyzed hydrogenations.
