Abstract
AbstractMeasurements of spectra in the visible region at different concentrations and temperatures of a series of substituted nitrosobenzenes are reported. Syntheses of the nitroso‐compounds are described. The relationship between steric inhibition of resonance and the tendency of nitroso‐compounds to form dimers is discussed.
