Abstract

The SYNTAX score predicts major cardiovascular events post-revascularization, although the histopathological basis is unclear. This analysis compares the rates of extended major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (EMACCE) at 1 year in High and Low syntax patients treated with coronary bypass grafting (CABG), and the associated histological characteristics of aortic punch biopsy tissue.
