Abstract
Abstract A synopsis of the orchid genus Psilochilus in Colombia is presented. Six national representatives are placed within a key to the identification of all known species of the genus. A morphological description and illustration of each species are presented. Information about their geographical range and vertical distribution is provided, together with brief notes on their taxonomic affinities. P. macrophyllus is lectotypified.
