Abstract

The exceptional efficiency of combining clay additives with introduction of thinning additives of a complex organomineral thinner (COMT) is observed. Values of 14 – 15% initial porosity of compacted high-alumina ceramic concrete with a compaction pressure of 30 MPa are achieved. Depending on mix composition and clay additive content with a comparable moisture content during static compaction material porosity with the addition of COMT is approximately equal to that of material without the additive under a compaction pressure, 3 – 6 times lower than that on material with additive.
