Abstract

Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries In article number 2201608, Jianxin Zou, Richard M. Laine, and co-workers show that co-doped FeS2 cathodes coupled with the inexpensive phenolate-based magnesium complex electrolyte and copper collectors for rechargeable magnesium batteries, exhibit considerable electrochemi cal performance. Characterization results indicate that the capacity is mainly contributed to the reaction of Mg with Cu-S species after battery activation, while Fe and Co species take actions with synergistic catalytic effect.
