Abstract

According to the official annual report on the top 10 causes of death, cancer the leading cause of death in Taiwan in 2012, and among the leading causes of cancer death in 2011, hepatocellular carcinoma was the second and gastric cancer the sixth. We report the case of a 64-year-old male who was found to have primary gastric cancer and primary hepatocellular carcinoma synchronously. With regard to the strategies for dealing with double primary cancers, previous related reports and are review the prognosis.
