Abstract

This paper addresses the synchronization problem of nonlinear coupled complex network via event-dependent aperiodically intermittent pinning control. The regional division based event-dependent intermittent control strategy is established, which relies on the relationship between the subregion and Lyapunov function. By imposing event-dependent linear and adaptive intermittent controllers to partial nodes respectively, some sufficient conditions are developed to ensure achieving pinning synchronization. The Zeno behavior is excluded for the proposed event-dependent mechanism. Two numerical examples are presented to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
