Abstract

A variable structure control (VSC) method is designed to synchronize a chua's circuit system with dead-zone in the control input, and a necessary and sufficient condition which can guarantee the stabilization of the sliding mode is obtained. By using VSC method, a new variable structure control law is proposed to ensure the occurrence of the sliding mode for the error dynamics even when the system with dead-zone nonlinearity control input, it is guaranteed that under the proposed control law, two identical modified chua's system achieve synchronization. The proposed control law has less conservatism and can eliminate the chattering of the state error obviously. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
