Abstract
WE have observed in the electron microscope and determined statistically the synaptinemal complexes or cores in primary spermatocytes of male mice, C57 B1, exposed to an environment of 34.5° C. and 60 per cent humidity. To avoid confusion from the presence of two generations of spermatocytes in the same section we have evaluated only stages I–VI of the spermatogenic cycle.
