Abstract

The stomach is the most common site for gastrointestinal sarcoidosis, and its involvement is usually asymptomatic. However, symptomatic gastric sarcoidosis is extremely rare. No studies are presently available to evaluate the role of steroids in symptomatic gastric sarcoidosis, but several anecdotal cases reported good symptomatic relief with their use. Described below are two selected presentations of symptomatic gastric sarcoidosis out of a five case series we encountered in our institution.
