Abstract
Recently, “Work style reform” is an important issue in Japanese society. The work style of Japanese doctors also needs improvement to reduce their working hours. Task sharing and shifting of doctor's work is considered as an important and effective method in “Work style reform”. Supportive care development center was organized to support variety of needs and concerns related to cancer in September 2016 in our hospital. Various activities for cancer patients (Preoperative Management, Nurse Consultation, Consultation Counselling and Support Center, Pharmacist Consultation, Nutritionist Consultation, Rehabilitation, Appearance Center, Palliative Medicine, Psycho-Oncology, Anesthesiology, Lymphedema Management and Physicians Referral Service Office, etc.) have been carried out to solve their clinical and social issues by multidisciplinary team with physicians, nurses, medical social workers, physical therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, etc.
