SWOT ANALYSIS OF VILLAGE OWNED ENTERPRISES (BUMDES) TRADING BUSINESS OF "AYU BAGIA" GOODS IN BAHA VILLAGE - KECAMATAN MENGWI BADUNG DISTRICT - BALI

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are village business institutions managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and be formed based on the needs and potential of the village. As one of the economic institutions operating in rural areas, BUMDes must have differences with economic institutions in general. Excavation of potentials and problems in Baha Sub-District / Mengwi Village, Badung Regency - Bali, namely by reviewing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats for plans to develop BUMDes or strengthen the role of BUMDes in Baha Village , Mengwi-Badung. The SWOT analysis was conducted to examine the concept of the Baha-Mengwi-Badung Village-Owned Enterprise in charge of existing asset and economic management. This writing refers to Regulation of the Minister of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration number 4 of 2015 concerning BUMDes, which illustrates the concept of managing BUMDes by exploring and maximizing the potential of existing villages. The SWOT analysis carried out on BUMDes in Baha Village, Mengwi Subdistrict, Badung Regency, was carried out by collecting data on the analysis of the internal environment (HR, marketing and distribution, financial statements, production and operational management, research and development) and external environmental analysis (government regulation / village, industry, general environment, community). The results of the SWOT analysis obtained are located in quadrant I, with a strategy to support aggressive growth policies. This is very beneficial for BUMDes in Baha Village, which have opportunities and strength, so they can take advantage of the opportunities available.
