Abstract
Textile Industry is the backbone of Pakistan and it plays a vital role for the development of the economy of Pakistan. The research paper is conducted to know the SWOT analysis of Pakistan's textile sector. Pakistan textile sector has its roots in cotton products. Pakistan is the largest manufacturer and exporter of textile goods. It contributes 68% in exports and 38% in GDP of Pakistan. The data on GDP contribution of last years in this sector and production of cotton is also shown with the help of the graphs so that their growth can be understood. Pakistan's textile sector has more weaknesses compared to strengths but it also has more opportunities to expand its textile sector. Pakistan industries face challenges due to load shading of gas and electricity. As a result Pakistan is losing its buyers.
