Abstract
The essence of the SWOT analysis is described, 32 metrics were selected to assess digital platforms used for improving the efficiency of waste management in the agro-industrial complex. The sequence of joint application of the SWOT analysis with the Harrington’s desirability function is given. 8 digital platforms including 2 Russian ones were selected as the objects of comparison. It has been proved that joint use of the SWOT analysis and the Harrington’s desirability function in a comprehensive assessment and identification of metrics that determine priority areas of development has good prospects. The key problems and opportunities of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex are identified. The components of the architecture of digital platforms which allow to increase the efficiency of their implementation are highlighted.
