Abstract

The chiral supramolecular complexation between amylose and oligosilane can be reversibly controlled by changing the pH, leading to a switching of the optical activity. Further, the induction of optical activity in oligosilane, synchronized with the supramolecular complexation, is reversible, as shown by data from pH cycling experiments.
