Abstract

In an ever-changing patriarchal society, the female is faced with the decision to stay home with her family and become a “center” for the house or to go out Into the work force and pursue her Interests and a career. As she strives to balance these two roles. In her addiction to perfection, we find that the domicile, as we once knew it, is destructing … making way for a new form that must be allowed to take shape. As the project begins to define “middle” architectonically, the patriarchal bonds to this house are broken: releasing the female.
