Abstract

Abstract This chapter looks at three levels of tourist transport in relation to tourist destination areas (TDAs): (1) international and national travel to the TDAs; (2) transfers within the TDAs themselves; and (3) circulation at the attraction, or in the historic city core, at the TDA. Attention is given on sustainable modes of transport at these three levels.
