Abstract

The author shares his professional experiences as civil defense lawyer that brought him to the development of the concept of Sustainable Justice and the initiation and co-writing of the Sustainable Justice Charter 1.0 (10 December 2015) and http://ssrn.com/abstract=2714858. Soon after its completion the Charter was co-signed by influential leaders in court innovation from the USA, Australia and France [e.g. Tom Tyler (Yale), David Wexler (Porto Rico), Jeremy Travis (John Jay College of Criminal Law) and Kim Wright (ABA Legal Rebel), and Judge Ginger Lerner - Wren (Broward County Fl), Andrew Cannon (Flinders), Tania Sourdin (Monash - Newcastle) and Martine Herzog-Evans (Reims)]. The author used this text to present the Charter on the conferences of the Asian Law Institute in Beijing P.R.C. on 19 May, 2016 and the Law & Society Association in New Orleans U.S.A. on June 3, 2016.
