Abstract

The problem of the sustainable development of the rural areas constitutes a highpriority for Romania in the quality of European Union’s member state. This supposesadopting of a coherent strategy that can realize a balance between the preservation demandof the economic, ecologic and socio-cultural area on one hand, and the tendency of lifecountry modernization, on the other side. In the paper are evidenced some aspects, projectsand action directions concerning the sustainable development of the Romanian rural space.
