SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES AS GLOBAL CHALLENGES (OF GOVERNANCE) IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Abstract

The article is induced analytical material problems of sustainable development of territories and the impact on his state of water resources in Ukraine. Identify problems and tasks of protection and rational use of water resources, both worldwide and in Ukraine. Studies have confirmed the findings of many experts that Ukraine is among the countries with inadequate supplies of pure natural water. The author argues that for the protection, respect and rational use of water resources and related sustainable development of the territories should be held accountable local governments.
