Abstract
A systematic approach to ensuring the stability of field and grassland feed production is justified. A comparative assessment of individual types of forage crops is given to select the most effective sour- ces of forage production in the absence of a shortage of chemicals of agricultural.The main directions for ensuring stability in the production of public livestock feed, improving the quality components of feed crops, especially in terms of protein and sugar content, are shown.An economic assessment of the efficiency of feed production was given depending on organizational, technological and economic factors.
