Abstract
Sustainability has become an increasingly important concept in both our personal and professional lives in recent decades. Education for sustainable development (ESD) is necessary to prepare students for the future. The aim of this article, the final one in the Practising Midwife’s education series, is to consider how the new Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) midwifery education standards will meet this agenda.
