Abstract

Sustainability and security, although distinct, are two principles entwined together not only through cause and effect but also by virtue of the scope of their impact. Climate Change (CC), one of the biggest and most talked about challenges today, is a problem that poses threats to both sustainability as well as human security. However, CC discussions seem to overlook the need to engage with the linkages between the concerns of climate change and human security. This paper attempts at addressing the ecological dimensions of human security and contextualizing it within the problem of climate change.
