Abstract

The critical role of surgery in the overall management of larynx and hypopharynx cancers continues to be undermined in all major outcome studies worldwide. This article is aimed at dissecting this aspect and recommends the inclusion of data of all surgical interventions performed on the patients when major clinical trials on larynx and hypopharyngeal cancers are conducted and analysed.
