Abstract

Objective To assess the mental health of nursing students in the later-stage of clinical practice. Methods Questionnaires of SCL-90 were used. We investigated one hundred and six nursing students in the later-stage of their clinical practice. Results The scores of SCL-90 factorssuch as interpersonal sensitivity, obsessive-compulsive, depression and anxiety were higher than the norm (P < 0.01). Conclusions We should pay more attention to the mental health of nursing students in the later-stage of their clinical practice and appropriate education and management should be provided to improve the mental health of nursing students.
