Survey on Data Mining Techniques with Data Structures

Abstract

In the current technology evolution of various applications of data mining requires efficiency which can be achieved in various ways by improving the steps of the data mining techniques. Current research shows a wide opening in the step that uses data structure of data mining methodology. Data mining deals with large database of various formats. Processing of this data requires multiple scans which increases computational time. Using data structures, the computation operations involved in the data mining techniques can be improved. Efficient data structures make a data mining methodology more effective. We have presented a survey paper by reviewing standard data structures and various data mining techniques. We have concentrated on the concept of standard data structures as well as data structures in research area. Also we illustrate some data structure with examples. Thus after the survey we identified the current issues in the data structure when associated with data mining methodologies.
