Abstract

Multiple studies indicate that intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) decreases toxicity in cervical cancer patients, but prospective studies are limited. Little is known about IMRT techniques used internationally. We aimed to assess IMRT techniques used by institutions participating in the International Evaluation of Radiotherapy Technology Effectiveness in Cervical Cancer (IntERTECC) trial, a multi-institutional phase II/III trial of IMRT for cervical cancer.
