Abstract

The goal of surgical-orthodontic treatment of mandibular prognathism is to correct the malocclusion of the teeth and restore facial balance and harmony. This objective was achieved in the treatment of six adults with a combination of surgical and orthodontic techniques. The results and complications of treatment are documented by short- and long-term clinical and cephalometric studies.
