Abstract

Introduction An apicoectomy involves surgical intervention to treat a tooth afflicted with a periapical lesion that remains unresolved despite standard endodontic procedures. The primary objective of apical surgery is to prevent the spread of bacteria and their associated by-products from the root canal system into the surrounding periradicular tissues. This research endeavours to underscore the potential efficacy of endodontic surgical intervention in cases where nonsurgical treatment of the right maxillary anterior teeth is ineffective.
