Abstract
Objective To review the experience of surgical treatment of giant solid mediastinal tumor.Methods The clinical data of 18 cases with giant solid mediastinal tumors were restroperctively analysized. Results 5 cases had postoperative complications,but no one died,15cases were received from 1 to 9 years follow\|up testing,of which one had tumor recurred and one widely metastasis.Conclusion Besides X\|ray,B\|us and CT should be main preoperative diagnostic methods. Body posture during induction anesthesia and operation and surgical styles can improve surgical safety,additionally dilatant pneumoedema should be prevented and treated.
