Abstract
• The present study aimed to evaluate the role of vestibular schwannoma surgery in ≥ 65-year-old patients • Age alone was not statistically correlated to worse either surgical or functional outcomes • Postoperatively, an immediate significant worsening of the post-operative KPS was observed • However, at a 6-month follow-up, a significant improvement in KPS was found, even over the preoperative one • Improvements between the immediate and the 6-month follow-up KPS were significant for patients aged between 65-70 and 70-75
