Abstract
Purpose: There are clinical trials to prove feasibility of limited lung resection for N0 small lung cancers in Japan and North America. However, a treatment strategy for these tumours has not yet been clarified. In our department limited resection for clinical stage IA lung cancer was performed when the diameter of the tumour was <15 mm and a consolidation Tumor Ratio iCTR jwas <0.5 on preoperative high-resolution computed tomography. We reviewed our experience of lung adenocarcinoma ≤20 mm diameter resection.
