Abstract
METHODS: The American College of Surgeons NSQIP database was used to examine comorbidities and 30-day complication rates in mastectomy patients from 2007-2012. Patients were grouped by age and reconstruction. Complication rates were characterized using descriptive statistics and Wilcoxon rank sum-test. Variable frequencies were compared using chi-square or Fisher’s exact test, with a 2-sided p value of 0.05.
